Sales Executive

You will be leading expansion of our business within Financial Services and Accounting, helping organisations digitise their customer experience through our exciting fintech product which is used at the front line of accounting information driven business decisions.

About the role

  • Define and shape go-to-market plans & sales strategy for your territory
  • Build relationships and influence C-suite and senior client stakeholders to gain insights into their most urgent business problems
  • Generate business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry
  • Build a stable, growing pipeline of current and future business opportunities
  • Sell products following a structured, best practice sales methodology
  • Recommend solutions and tirelessly overcome obstacles
  • Create comprehensive client business plans and engage in complex deal negotiation
  • Manage your sales pipeline to achieve quarterly and annual targets
  • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
  • Prepare sales reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies

Skills & knowledge required

  • Proven experience in building relationships with C-Level and senior technical and business unit executives
  • Experience of sales of financial technology and SaaS platforms
    Demonstrable experience of supporting commercial & SME lending
  • Demonstrable track record in a sales role (3+ years)
  • A collaborative style with experience engaging a diverse group of internal stakeholders to articulate a truly compelling client value proposition
  • Excellent understanding of complex solution selling and sales process
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional presentation and process/organization skills
  • Proven ability to create a comprehensive client business plan
  • Good CRM skills ie Salesforce and pipeline management
