SaaS Sales Executive – Financial services (bank and non-bank)

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced enterprise SaaS salesperson to join our exciting & dynamic team in a sales role.

About the role

You will be leading expansion of our business within Financial Services, helping organisations digitise their customer experience through our exciting fintech product which is used at the front line of commercial banking business decisions.

  • Build relationships and influence C-suite and senior client stakeholders to gain insights into their most urgent business problems
  • Generate business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry
  • Build a stable, growing pipeline of current and future business opportunities
  • Sell products following a structured, best practice sales methodology
  • Manage your sales pipeline to achieve quarterly and annual targets
  • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors

About you

Skills required

  • Proven experience in building relationships with C-Level and senior technical and business unit executives
  • Experience of sales of financial technology and SaaS platforms to financial services firms
  • Demonstrable experience of supporting commercial & SME lending
  • Demonstrable track record in a sales role (3+ years)
  • A collaborative style with experience engaging a diverse group of internal stakeholders to articulate a truly compelling client value proposition
  • Excellent understanding of SaaS solution selling and sales process
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional presentation and process/organisation skills
  • Proven ability to create a comprehensive client business plan
  • Good CRM skills ie Salesforce and pipeline management
